This task type allows launching application, opening document, Internet page or e-mail client.
To launch application: enter the application's executable file name in the field Executable file name of the task properties window. You can also click the Browse button to find the application's executable file on your computer disks or click the button Lookup to select application from the list of applications installed on your computer.
Application will be launched in hidden window is you select Run hidden option.
If you have administrator rights on your computer, you can launch application under another user account. To do that select Run as user option and specify name, domain and password of the user under which account you wish to start the application.
To open document, enter its path and file name in the field Executable file name. Documents, types of which are registered in your system, will open automatically. If document type is not registered in the system, but you know, which application should open it - you can enter the application's executable file name in the Executable file name field and specify the document's path and file name in the Command line arguments field.
To open Internet page: in the field Executable file name enter the page's URL (like this: http://www.advscheduler.com/).
To launch e-mail client: use the 'mailto:' prefix before the e-mail address (for example: mailto:user@domain.com?subject=Subject&body=Message body).
