2) Enter the IP address and port number of the machine where Advanced Task Scheduler Network Server is installed.
2.1) You can find IP address and port number on the "Configuration" tab if you launch Start menu | Advanced Task Scheduler Network | Server on the server machine.
3) You may need to enable Advanced Task Scheduler Network in your firewall settings in case it is not enabled by default in firewall on either client or server machine.

Below are the most common reasons for the "Scheduling service is not connected" message:
1) Firewall blocks the connection.
2) The service is not started. You can check service status in the Services section in the Control Panel.
3) If you upgrade from version 4.5 or earlier, the new version converts all your tasks to the new format. This takes a few minutes and the service is not operable during this time.
4) You can check your event log in Control Panel | Event Viewer. The service reports its errors to that event log.
5) Also, there is restriction options on the "Configuration" tab of service configuration program. If enabled, these options can restrict access to the service by IP. Service configuration program can be opened from Start menu | Advanced Task Scheduler Network | Server on the server machine.

Silent installation:

Prerequisites:
Advanced Task Scheduler does not require and will not force you to install any additional components such as vcruntime or .NET framework.

The computer requires this if Advanced Task Scheduler application, service or installation program does not start without displaying any error alerts.
